The hard pre-season work has been done and though a couple of Shropshire Blues were found wanting in the build up we are confident that our stomachs are as distended as they could possibly be for the Blackburn trip.
On the footy side Mikel has signed a new deal. Pity he followed it with a lacklustre performance in the 0-2 reverse at Wolfsburg but, hey, best get it out of the way. The defeat was the only blemish on a good pre-season build up, every other game having been won. And besides, we had a jolly good trip over there.
The Everton v Everton game was historic; who knows when it will happen again?
Four goals at Norwich on the back of three at Preston suggests that there might be some goals in the team.
The Shropshire Blues selection panel, try as they might, could not reach concensus on either our starting line up or Moyesies first choice line-up.
